By December 31, 2024, contractual welfare benefits will be disbursed for the employees in the sector. As per the national collective labor agreement signed by Anpit, Confiomprenditori, Unica, and Cisal Terziario of the National Federation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Commerce, Services, Tertiary, Tourism, on July 26, 2024, employers are mandated to disburse to all employees, who have passed the test arrangement, the Contractual Welfare equivalent to the following values before December 31, 2024.
For 2024, the welfare per year for executives is €1,000 (in monthly installments of €83.33), For managers, the amount is €600 (in €50 monthly installments), for A1 and A2 level employees, it is €500 (in €41.67 monthly installments), for B1 and B2-operators involved in 1st and 2nd category sales, it is €400 (in €33.33 monthly installments), for C1 and C2-operators in 3rd and 4th category sales, €350 (in €29.16 monthly installments), and for D1 and D2-discontinuous workers, it is €300 (in monthly installments of €25).
The Contractual Welfare amounts include possible social security or tax deductions that could be charged to the Company. These amounts must be used within 12 months from their provision.
Potential uses for Contractual Welfare values can be supplemented, coordinated, and possibly extended. These include provisions for social work and services including medical check-ups, specialized visits, dental care, therapy and rehabilitation, psychological counselling, home care, caregiving, and nursing homes.
Educational and instruction services, both pre-school and further, including concomitant canteen and supplementary services, also fall under potential use. This includes daycare, babysitting, expenses for primary, elementary, intermediate, and higher education schooling, universities and masters, textbooks, after school or pre-school services, meal vouchers and school canteens, school busses or educational outings, and complementary course attendance.
Also included are gaming rooms, summer or winter centers, elder care services for family members over 75 years and/or not self-sufficient in daily activities, or requiring constant supervision. This covers caregivers, home care, nursing homes, and care homes.
Collective transport services for the general or categories of employees, even if entrusted to third parties, including public service operators, are also covered. Transportation subscriptions for local, regional, and interregional public transport for the employee and dependents.
Also included are goods and services in nature (within the maximum limit of 258.23 euros/year, comprehensive or, up to 2,000 euros/year for Workers with dependent children or 1,000 euros/year without children). This covers grocery vouchers, various purchase vouchers, fuel vouchers, phone top-ups, reimbursement of household utilities borne by the worker, and mortgage interest.
Finally, the welfare could benefit the employee’s supplementary pension.
