The request service for the benefit will be available again from December 5 to December 20, 2024 (INAIL, note November 29, 2024, n.11625). INAIL has once again made the service “Request for facilitated definition earthquake Central Italy 2016/2017” available on its institutional website in the “Communication suspensions/recoveries facilitated” section to allow the request to be submitted to interested parties.
Due to the fact that the previously set deadline is not considered peremptory, the Institute’s decision was made following reports received from various territorial structures from which it emerged that many subjects, who are in possession of the requirements for admission to the benefit, have not proceeded to send the communication.
Indeed, INAIL had already made available within the online services of its portal, from February 1 to April 1, 2024, the appropriate service to allow interested parties to apply for admission to the benefit under discussion pursuant to article 8, paragraphs 2 and 2 bis of the D.L. n.123/2019.
The Institute, furthermore, reminds that in order to apply for admission to the benefit it is necessary that the interested parties have previously submitted to the competent INAIL office a specific request for suspension of premiums having a legal deadline in the period from the dates of the seismic events to September 30, 2017.
As already explained in the INAIL circular n.57/2023, interested parties can request to be admitted to the aforementioned benefit in the regime of de minimis aids, pursuant to Regulation (EU) n.2831/2023 of the Commission, of December 13, 2023, and/or in the regime of State aids provided for by the general exemption regulation by category, namely Regulation (EU) n.651/2014 of the Commission, of June 17, 2014, for the part exceeding the cap of 300,000 euros of aids received in the current year and in the 2 previous exercises. INAIL structures will have to carry out the verification and validation operations of the amounts granted as a tax relief by January 15, 2025.
Finally, the Institute notes that the operational instructions that have been the subject of specific notes remain valid.
