CIRL Pesca Veneto: Contract Renewal Signed

The Fai-Cisl Veneto labor union in Italy has announced the signature of a supplementary regional contract for the fishing sector involving the three fisheries of Chioggia, Caorle and Pila. The agreement comes after nearly a year of complex negotiations. The contract outlines important allowances including a compensation of 45.00 euro for every working day provided on weekends, specifically from 14-15 December 2024 to 4-5 January 2025. The same compensation applies for all holidays as well. The contract also highlights important commitments towards health and safety, earmarking a dedicated course for the representative of laborers for territorial fishing safety.
