The Ente Bilaterale Turismo Calabria has announced subsidies to cover travel expenses for workers in the tourism sector. Up to €150.00 per family unit will be awarded for transportation public tickets purchased and used between August 1, 2024, and July 31, 2025.
To qualify, applicants must comply with few conditions: they must be regular contributors to social security; the family unit’s annual income measured through ISEE (an Italian index expressing the economic situation of a household) must not exceed €30,000.00; and travel tickets must expressly be purchased and used within the specified validity period.
The deadline to submit applications is August 29, 2025. Applications must include the following: copies of the applicant’s last two paychecks; front and back copies of the applicant’s identity card; the ISEE report for the family unit for the year 2024; proof of purchased travel tickets in the applicant’s name, demonstrating payment through traceable methods such as bank transfer, debit card, or credit card, etc.
The move is part of an effort to support employees in the tourism sector by helping them offset their transportation costs. This initiative is part of a wider strategy to foster sustainability and resilience in the tourism sector while effectively addressing the needs and priorities of employees in the industry.
