The Metasalute Fund announces to its members that on December 2, 2024, it will launch two extraordinary initiatives aimed at providing additional health benefits as part of the 2024-2026 Health Plans. These will be managed and refunded directly by the fund itself. These special projects include:
1. Additional specialty services for large families: To ensure a fairer coverage of healthcare expenses for those who have three or more children, an additional reimbursement opportunity is provided, upon reaching the maximum limit set by the 2024-2026 Health Plan, for outpatient specialist care.
2. Assistance for families with children affected by Autism, Schizophrenia and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD): Reimbursement of healthcare costs for specific services incurred by families with children affected by Autism, Schizophrenia and SLD.
These benefits will be provided thanks to the fund for institutional purposes (also destined for the management of extraordinary health benefits) until December 31, 2025, and until the sums allocated for the initiatives are exhausted, as decided by the Board of Directors of the Fund.
Requests for benefits connected to the special projects can only be made exclusively from the Reserved Area of the Metasalute Fund, accessible from the fund’s website.
