Recently, several syndicates and associations, namely Filcams-Cgil, Fisascat-Cisl, Uiltucs-Uil, Fidaldo, and Domina, convened to ascertain the annual adjustments to the wages of domestic workers. The modifications aim to align with ISTAT’s reported inflation rate or cost of living increases. Currently, as we eagerly await the realization of this deal’s official text, remuneration schedules from the Domina association have been made available.
Starting with group A, which are cohabiting workers as per article 14 co. 1, lett. a), their monthly wages are given as follows:
– Level A: €736.25
– Level AS: €870.13
– Level B: €937.06
– Level BS: €1,003.99
– Level C: €1,070.94
– Level CS: €1,137.86
– Level D: €1,338.65 (with an additional €197.95 indemnity)
– Level DS: €1,405.58 (with an additional €197.95 indemnity)
The salaries of workers referred to in article 14 co. 2 are as follows:
– Level B: €669.32
– Level BS: €702.81
– Level C: €776.40
Non-cohabiting workers as per article 14 co. 2 lett. b) fall under group C, their hourly wages are given as such:
– Level A: €5.35
– Level AS: €6.30
– Level B: €6.68
– Level BS: €7.10
– Level C: €7.49
– Level CS: €7.91
– Level D: €9.12
– Level DS: €9.50
For group D, involved in night-time assistance, the monthly salaries are as follows for the respective categories:
– Level BS: €1,154.58 (Self-sufficient)
– Level CS: €1,308.53 (Non-Self-sufficient)
– Level DS: €1,616.46 (Non-Self-sufficient)
Furthermore, for night-time presence, (group E, Art. 11) the monthly wage of a singular standard is €773.06. While the daily indemnities (group F) for level BS are bifurcated as such; Lunch and/or breakfast: €2.31, Dinner: €2.31, Accommodations: €1.98. The total indemnity for food and accommodations comes to €6.60.
Hourly wages of workers referred to in article 14 co. 9 (group G) are:
– Level CS: €8.49
– Level DS: €10.25
For those receiving indemnities under article 34 co. 3 (group H) the values are as such:
– Level BS receives a monthly indemnity of €132.04 for normal levels and €92.51 for workers in Table B, both with an hourly rate of €0.80.
Workers receiving indemnities under article 34 co. 4 (group I) get the following amounts:
– Both Level CS and DS earn €114.05 monthly, with an hourly rate of €0.67.
Finally, for indemnities under article 34 co. 7 (group L) the respective levels receive:
– Level B: €9.13
– Level BS: €11.41
– Level CS: €11.41
The ISTAT Index variation is reported to be at 1.2%. These adjustments represent an overall wage increase of 0.96%, counter to inflation rates.
