CCNL Third Sector (Fesica-Confsal): National Consolidated Base Pay Amounts Revalued

On January 31, Confimprese Italia and Fesica Confsal met to analyze the relationship between wages and purchasing power for employees in the tertiary sector, as mandated by the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) of July 20, 2023. They decided on a wage revaluation of one percentage point (+1%) effective from January 1, 2025. The wages before this re-evaluation were as follows:

– Executives: €2,765.77
– Managers: €2,212.55
– Level I: €1,880.77
– Level II: €1,770.11
– Level III: €1,659.01
– Level IV: €1,548.88
– Level V: €1,438.22
– Level VI: €1,327.54

This revaluation aims to continuously review the financial remuneration of employees in the tertiary sector in order to maintain a fair exchange between the remuneration received and the purchasing power of the employees. The purchasing power refers to the actual amount of goods or services that one’s income can purchase, and in an ideal situation, increases in wages should align with or exceed inflation rates to ensure a constant or increasing purchasing power.

The table shows that Executives are receiving the highest wage at €2,765.77, whereas the employees at Level VI receive the least at €1,327.54. With the agreed upon revaluation of one percentage point (+1%) from January 1, 2025, these figures are expected to increase, improving the economic conditions of the employees in the tertiary sector.

The negotiations between Confimprese Italia and Fesica Confsal demonstrate the continuous efforts being made to ensure that workers’ wages are in line with economic conditions, thus enabling them to maintain a consistent standard of living. Considering the current economic climate, maintaining a fair relation between wages and purchasing power becomes crucial for employees to continue affording goods and services.

This wage revaluation is a vital strategy in workforce management, especially in sectors like the tertiary industry that often sees varying degrees of wages amongst its different career hierarchies. Regularly reviewing and adjusting these wages to match the current state of the economy will not only improve the employees’ living conditions, but it could also potentially lead to increased productivity and job satisfaction.
