The Ministry of Labor and Social Policies in Italy has announced that employers who prepared applications last November to hire foreign workers can submit these applications on the 5th, 7th, and 12th of February 2025, through the Single Immigration Desk section of the Ministry of Interior’s Portal services. For 2025, a maximum of 10,000 applications for non-seasonal subordinated work can be presented, excluding quotas. These applications are related to workers needed in the field of family and socio-sanitary care for disabled or elderly people.
The deadline for submission of these applications varies depending on the category of workers to be hired.
On the 5th of February 2025, applications can be put forth for non-seasonal subordinated workers coming from countries that have cooperation agreements with Italy using application form B2020. This announcement refers to sectors such as construction, mechanics, goods transport on behalf of third parties, telecommunications, and shipbuilding.
On the 7th of February 2025, applications can be submitted for other non-seasonal subordinated workers, such as Italian-origin workers residing in Venezuela using application form B, or workers in the field of family and socio-sanitary care, both “within quota” and “outside quota”, using application form A-BIS.
On the 12th of February 2025, employers can submit applications for seasonal workers in the agricultural and tourist – hotel sectors using application form C-STAG.
This provides employers with specific dates to remember and help manage the recruitment process for foreign workers effectively. The submission dates are dependent on the type of workers they are looking to employ, giving preference to different worker categories on different dates.
