Communication has commenced to companies and workers that benefitted from funds from INPS (Institute for Social Security) through the 2021 budget law. The budget introduced co-funding from the National Operational Program “Active policy systems for employment” (PON SPAO) for companies providing permanent jobs/contracts to those below 36 years of age. The fund was financed by the resources of the FSE-REACT EU and the “Next Generation EU” program.
An audit conducted by the European Commission highlighted the need for correct and adequate information to final beneficiaries about the use of EU funds in the event of co-financing. As a result, INPS, in agreement with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies, initiated communication to companies and workers who benefited from these co-financed contracts in 2021 and 2022.
INPS sent communications to companies inviting them to inform employees, through email or other means, regarding the financing received from European funds (FSE-REACT EU).
INPS highlighted that this co-financing initiative was started to boost employment and counteract the socio-economic effects of the pandemic, while also promoting a resilient, digital and green recovery for the economy.
