The social parties – Cna, Confartigianato, Fillea-Cgil, Filca-Cisl and Feneal Uil – came to an agreement on 17th March 2025, establishing the amounts to be disbursed as Variable Element of Salary (EVR), from January to December 2025, for construction workers employed by companies affiliated with the Cassa Edile di Ravenna. The amount will be paid in twelve monthly instalments throughout the year. Companies that did not pay the EVR instalments in January and February 2025 will distribute the respective amounts as arrears in March and April 2025.
Below are the total and monthly amounts established for each level:
Level 1 – Total Amount: 420.60, Monthly Amount: 35.05
Level 2 – Total Amount: 491.80, Monthly Amount: 40.98
Level 3 – Total Amount: 546.88, Monthly Amount: 45.57
Level 4 – Total Amount: 588.47, Monthly Amount: 49.04
Level 5 – Total Amount: 630.94, Monthly Amount: 52.58
Level 6 – Total Amount: 757.06, Monthly Amount: 63.09
Level 7 – Total Amount: 848.69, Monthly Amount: 70.72
In accordance with this agreement, the payments should be made consistently and should be periodically monitored to ensure fair disbursement. Any company that defaults on payment for a given month is required to pay the amount due as arrears in subsequent months.
This arrangement provides a structure for fair remuneration for construction workers, fostering an atmosphere of transparency and cooperation among the employers and employees in the construction industry. By standardising the payments, the social parties aim to avoid salary disparities, enhance job satisfaction and worker morale, while reducing potential conflicts over wage issues. As construction forms a major part of Ravenna’s economy, such an agreement can make a significant impact on the livelihoods and living standards of many of its workers.
