The Italian National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work (INAIL) announced on May 23, 2025, that updated versions of its applications, which include information on work-related injuries on construction sites, are now available. Both ‘Reporting of accidnet’ and ‘Notification/reporting of accident’ applications include a new mandatory field for capturing information about possible injury events on construction sites. The insertion of the information “Activities carried out on construction sites (for construction or civil engineering works)” is also aimed at managing the “credit license” in temporary or mobile construction sites, as planned by the DL n. 19/2024, which was converted, with amendments, by Law n. 56/2024, amending article 27 of the Legislative Decree n. 81/2008, and regulated by the implementing ministerial decree n. 132/2024.
The INAIL also informs that the version histories containing details of the changes, user manuals and updated technical documentation for offline submission are available at the following paths:
