The Italian trade unions Fai-Cisl, Flai-Cgil, and Filbi-Uil have announced the signing of a new labour agreement regarding the economic aspects of the National Collective Labour Agreements (CCNL) for the Land Reclamation and Land Improvement Consortiums for the years 2025-2026. This agreement builds upon the improvements established in the previous one for 2023-2024.
The agreement provides for salary increases of 5.2% over two years in two tranches. The first tranche of 3% will be paid from July 1, 2025, and the second tranche of 2.2% from January 1, 2026. These increases are in addition to the 5.2% increase obtained in the previous two years, thus the total cumulative increase for the four-year period from 2023 to 2026 is 10.4%.
Further novelties include improvements to workers’ classification, and expanded protections for temporary staff starting from the recognition of overtime. Days off for special events and causes are also increased; in addition to recognizing a continuous service bonus for workers who have worked at least 450 days within three years. The agreement also recognizes special leave for marriage.
