CIPL Commercio Confcommercio Pesaro Urbino: Agreement Signed for Seasonal Workers

On April 28th, Confcommercio of Pesaro-Urbino, Filcams-Pesaro Urbino, Fisascat-Cisl delle Marche, and Uiltuics-Uil Marche have signed the renewal agreement for the National Collective Labor Contract (CCNL) for the Tertiary, Distribution, and Services sectors, which pertains particularly to the specified discipline of fixed-term contracts in tourist locations.

It was stipulated that the coastal municipalities of the Province of Pesaro-Urbino are linked to a seasonal tourism flow. Therefore, based on the provisions of Article 75 of the Tertiary Distribution and Services CCNL, the period identified for the actual tourist seasonality runs from May 1 to September 30 of each year.

Employers who intend to benefit from this regulation will be obliged to include the references of the territorial agreement in each individual employment contract. Along with the employment, a copy of the contract must be sent to the Labor Observatory established by the bilaterally appropriate bodies for the territory.

Finally, it was specified that workers executing one or more fixed-term contracts for managing seasonal peaks at the same company, and have worked for a period longer than five months, will have the precedence right in the hiring of fixed-term contracts, always with reference to the already performed duties, whether in fixed-term or permanent contracts.
