On May 20, 2025, an agreement was signed to renew the contract for employees of small and medium-sized construction businesses and related companies. Social parties Cna Costruzioni, Anaepa Confartigianato Edilizia, Fiae Casartigiani, Claai Edilizia, Feneal-Uil, Filca-Cisl, and Fillea-Cgil signed this agreement, which applies to employment contracts from May 1, 2025, to September 30, 2028, and to ongoing employment relationships as of May 1, 2025, or subsequently established.
The agreement included an increase of 178.00 euros at parameter 100 (standard worker) for the new minimum wages as listed below:
– Level 7: As of May 1, 2025, the wage is 2,147.21 euros, increasing to 2,218.96 euros starting January 1, 2026, then to 2,290.71 euros beginning January 1, 2027, and reaching 2,358.36 euros by January 1, 2028.
– Level 6: Start with 1,912.08 euros from May 1, 2025, rising to 1,975.08 euros on January 1, 2026, further climbing to 2,038.08 euros by January 1, 2027, and finalizing at 2,097.48 euros from January 1, 2028.
– Level 5: Wages start at 1,593.54 euros from May 1, 2025, increase to 1,646.04 euros by January 1, 2026, goes up to 1,698.54 euros as of January 1, 2027, and peaks at 1,748.04 euros from January 1, 2028.
– Level 4: Begin at 1,485.23 euros as of May 1, 2025, increases to 1,533.88 euros from January 1, 2026, further rises to 1,582.53 euros by January 1, 2027, and finalizes at 1,628.40 euros by January 1, 2028.
– Level 3: Start at 1,381.22 euros from May 1, 2025, increase to 1,426.72 euros by January 1, 2026, further increase to 1,472.22 euros from January 1, 2027, and reaches 1,515.12 euros by January 1, 2028.
– Level 2: Wages begin at 1,239.90 euros from May 1, 2025, rise to 1,280.15 euros by January 1, 2026, rise again to 1,320.40 euros starting January 1, 2027, and conclude at 1,358.35 euros by January 1, 2028.
– Level 1: Begin at 1,062.30 euros from May 1, 2025, increase to 1,097.30 euros by January 1, 2026, rise again to 1,132.30 euros from January 1, 2027, and peak at 1,165.30 euros by January 1, 2028.
This agreement ensures a gradual annual increase in the minimum wage of construction industry workers depending on their level of work. It provides stability and improved living standards for employees amid uncertain economic conditions.
