Starting from May 2, for employees registered with the organization, the childbirth bonus is active. The Bilateral Craft Institution of Calabria has planned to provide a one-time contribution of 350.00 euros for each birth, adoption or pre-adoptive foster care of a minor, in favor of employees. The financial benefit, recognized only to one of the parents if both are registered, does not affect tax purposes since it does not fit into one of the income categories provided for by article 6 of TUIR.
To access the contribution, the registered worker must have at least 12 months of regular registration or contribution to the entity. The application must be submitted using a specific form to be sent by the worker’s certified email or through a local union office of CGIL, CISL UIL, within 6 months of the birth or adoption of the child.
The following documents must be attached to the application:
– Copy of the identity document and tax code of the applicant;
– Birth certificate or document attesting to the adoption;
– Latest available payslip which indicates that the worker is still employed;
– Self-certification attesting to the family status.
Subject to exhaustion in advance of the annual resources allocated by EBAC, the contribution will be paid directly to the worker, within 30 days of the application or from the possible documentary integration.
