During a meeting held on May 27 between Aran and the trade unions, different positions were once again brought up regarding the contractual renewal for the Healthcare sector for 2022-2024. While some unions such as Cgil, Uil, and Nursing-Up are against signing the renewal, others, including Cisl, Nursind, and Fials, are in favor. Despite these differences, there were some glimmers of dialogue.
Aran has outlined the regulatory improvements contained in the draft contract, showing willingness to discuss, as long as no additional financial resources are requested. They specifically note that the Nursing-Up union, which is against the signing, has not requested any new financial incentives to be included in the draft contract.
However, Aran has indicated readiness to discuss with the Regions on some aspects, such as: high professional qualification (a topic already improved in the text drafted in January 2025) the management of shifts for staff over 60, and the requirement of shift flexibility for single-parent families.
A new meeting has been arranged for about two weeks.
