The contractual renewal for employees of private kindergartens working in child and early childhood care services has been confirmed by Fism and the trade unions Flc-Cgil, Cisl-Scuola, and Snals-Confsal, Uil-Scuola. Effective from June 1st, the new agreement, which relates to the 2024-2027 four-year term, outlines both regulatory and economic treatment.
Starting from June 1st, an increase in minimum wages for these employees will be executed in two tranches; the first installment taking effect on June 1, 2025, and the second on September 1, 2025. The allocated amounts are as shown in the table:

In addition, provision has been made for a one-time payment (Una Tantum) to be dispensed over the period between September 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025. These amounts, to be issued in two tranches in June and November 2025, are outlined in the following table:

From September 1, 2025, employees who have completed two years of uninterrupted service in the same institution will receive a longevity salary. The amounts at various levels are as follows: €15.00 for levels 1, 2, 3, and 4; €20.00 for levels 5, 6, 7, and 8.
Additionally, welfare payments for 2024 and 2025 have been outlined as follows: they amount to €200.00 for 2024 and €165.00 for 2025 for those receiving Asi, and €200.00 for 2025 for temporary workers not receiving Asi. These welfare increments, usually issued during Christmas, should be used by the end of the following year. However, the welfare value decreases to €100.00 per year for 2026 and 2027 if Asi is being received.
