The trade unions Fim, Fiom, and Uilm made known through a press release on June 10, 2025, that they held the second meeting for the renewal of the CCNL Jewelry Industry contract, which expired last December 2024. In the meeting, they received the first responses to the platform they presented last April, regarding regulatory and economic requests, including wage increases. Federorafi has shown openness to these points.
On wages, the employer’s side has declared it is open to regularize travel and availability shifts which are not currently included in the contract. They have also expressed their willingness to replicate the wage structure implemented last year.
The employer’s side has also shown readiness to update the part related to professional classification by adding new professional profiles. There were also discussions about vocational training, beginning with the 24 hours stipulated by the CCNL, with Federorafi showing willingness to adhere to MetApprendo.
In terms of prevention and safety, further study minutes are necessary to evaluate the request for inserting training breaks in case of accidents, along with an increase in union leave hours for the Rls. Stable job contracts were also reaffirmed as a necessity by the trade unions.
Regarding the request for a reduction in working hours, for the unions, it’s necessary that workers can access their vacation days and reduction hours without monetization.
The next meeting is scheduled for July 8.
