Federcatering, Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl, Uiltrasporti and Ugl-Transport, in accordance with the National Collective Labour Contract (CCNL) of December 7, 2022, have set new minimum wage standards, effective from July. These new amounts concern the employees of the companies associated with Federcatering. These companies are engaged in catering services within the air transport sector, particularly within areas of airport management and ground assistance services. The new minimum wage rates are outlined below:
For the ‘Quadro A’ level, the minimum base wage is set at 1.970,88 Euros with an additional contingency payment of 542,70 Euros, making the total wage 2.513,58 Euros.
The ‘Quadro B’ level has a base salary of 1.788,40 Euros and a contingency payment of 537,59 Euros. The total wage under this category stands at 2.325,99 Euros.
The ‘Categoria C’ employees will earn a base income of 1.532,89 Euros plus a contingency of 537,59 Euros. Their total income will amount to 2.070,48 Euros.
Under ‘Categoria D’, the designated wages are 1.284,73 Euros as base and 531,59 Euros as contingency, with total earnings amounting to 1.816,32 Euros.
In ‘Categoria E’, employees will earn a base wage of 1.211,73 Euros and a contingency of 528,26 Euros. The total compensation package sums up to 1.739,99 Euros.
For ‘Categoria F’ workers, the base wage is set at 1.138,73 Euros and the contingency at 524,94 Euros. Their total income will be 1.663,67 Euros.
In the ‘Categoria G’, a base wage of 919,72 Euros and a contingency of 522,37 Euros is set. The total wage will be 1.442,09 Euros.
‘Categoría H’ includes a wage of 824,84 Euros and a contingency of 520,51 Euros. The total wage for workers under this category will be 1.345,35 Euros.
Finally, for the ‘Categoria I’ employees, the base wage will be 729,95 Euros and the contingency will be 518,45 Euros. The total income will therefore be 1.248,40 Euros.
It’s important to note that these wage adjustments reflect a deeper commitment to ensuring that wages in the airline catering sector are competitive, and, at the same time, provide a worthwhile compensation for the skills and hard work of employees in the sector.
