The message from INPS on July 24, 2025, number 2345, states that requests can be sent up to 120 days from the date of the event. Following circular number 76/2025, INPS revisited the topic of the so-called “New Born Bonus” stating that the deadline for applications has been extended from 60 to 120 days from the date of the event (birth or entry of the minor into the family).
The aforementioned circular provided guidelines related to the one-time amount of 1,000 euros provided by Article 1, paragraphs 206 to 208 of the Budget Law 2025 (Law no. 207/2024). It explained the requirements for access to the contribution and instructions for submitting the relevant applications. Specifically, the deadline for the submission of applications was indicated in paragraph 3 of the aforementioned circular number 76/2025.
Now, the Institute informs that for events that occurred from January 1, 2025 to May 24, 2025, for which the application was not submitted within the 60-day period, interested parties can submit the application within 60 days (September 22, 2025) from the date of publication of the message in question.
