Discussions for the new 2027-2030 renewal platform will resume between OO.SS. in the early months of 2026. On 22 July 2025, unions and employers’ associations signed the text for the press of the National Collective Labor Agreement for workers employed by artisan companies. The agreement involves over 500,000 workers employed in 122,000 companies in the metallurgical sector, installation of systems, goldsmith, dental technician companies and restoration of cultural heritage.
The printed contract will be available in union offices for workers, consultants, and companies from October. The final drafting concludes a significant job of adjusting and reordering the special parts of the contract initiated during the previous renewal. This restructure simplifies and incorporates dozens of articles from the old collective agreement, making it easier for workers and companies to consult.
Generally, the contract is valid for the period 2023-2026 and provides economic increases of 216.00 euros at the 4th level, of which 171.00 euros have already been recognised and 45.00 euros to be issued in further 2 tranches by November 2026. There are also improvements in the normative part, particularly recognition of seniority increases of 10.00 euros per month for apprentice workers and increasing permanent training for workers to 16 hours.
Starting from the beginning of 2026, discussions will resume between the OO.SS. to determine the new advocacy platform for the 2027-2030 renewal.
