Starting from September 1st, the third installment of a one-time amount, referred to as “Una Tantum”, will be paid. This payment covers the period from January 1st, 2022 to December 31st, 2023 and will be distributed with the September paycheck for workers who are employed as of December 21st, 2023. The payment is proportionate to the number of months of effective service provided during this period. Any fraction of a month over 15 days is treated as a full month for these purposes.
The amount is re-proportioned for part-time workers and is not included in the calculation base for severance pay (TFR). It is calculated considering both direct and indirect salary components, both from legal and contractual origins, and therefore includes these elements.
The payment amounts, based on the level of workers, are as follows:
For level 1 workers, the amount is 149.67. Level 2 workers will receive 125.33. Workers at level 3 will be paid 114.51. Level 3S workers will receive an amount of 110.00. Payment for level 4S workers is 104.59, while level 4 workers will receive an amount of 99.18. Finally, those at level 5 will receive 90.16.
This arrangement provides additional remuneration to workers based on their service duration within the specified period and their work level, with an apparent higher benefit for workers at higher levels. This initiative is significant in supplementing workers’ income and can be particularly beneficial for part-time workers, as the amount is adjusted to reflect their work conditions. Additionally, the exclusion of this payment from the severance pay calculation implies that this is an extra benefit, separate from any contractual or legal commitments by the employer. Thus, it reassures that it will not impact the workers’ statutory benefits. The consideration of direct and indirect salary components in the calculation further ensures a holistic approach to remuneration.
