Parma CIPL Craftsmanship Construction: The Hypothetical Agreement Signed

The supplementary contract will be in effect from 1st August 2025 to 31st December 2026. Social parts of Confartigianato Imprese Parma, CNA, Fillea-Cgil, Filca.Cisl and Feneal-Uil signed an agreement on 4th July 2025 for the renewal of the provincial contract concerning employees of artisan businesses and small and medium industrial enterprises in the building industry in the territory of the Province of Parma.

The structures for transport, travel, and availability remain unchanged, with only the amounts dating back to 2017 being updated.

Under the new contract, from 1st October 2025, any worker asked to perform their duties at a construction site different and more than 4 km away from the one they were hired for, will be entitled to a daily allowance starting from €8.75 for distances between 4.1-15 km to €15.75 for distances from 81-120 km. This is in addition to reimbursement of possible necessary and documented expenses related to the move and the kilometer reimbursement according to ACI rates in case of using personal transport.

Workers residing more than 5 km from the workplace will receive a daily allowance for transport costs as follows: €1.99 for distances up to 20 km, and €4.23 for distances over 20 km.

Different compensations are set for availability: €7.7 for worked day, €12.10 for day off and €16.5 for festive day. The weekly compensation ranges from €46.2 for six days, €55 for six days with holiday and €77 for six days with holiday and day off.

Companies are obliged to provide a hot meal composed of a first course, second course with side dish and bread and a non-alcoholic drink employing the services of corporate catering companies operating in the province of Parma, with whom an agreement has been signed. The meal cost is currently valued at €12.2, with 1/3 to be borne by workers, and 2/3 by the company.

In case of organizational or logistical difficulties, companies can offer meal vouchers issued by regularly authorized management companies. The value of these cannot exceed the sum of 2/3 of the price of the agreed meal practiced by the major companies in the sector (€8) increased by an additional cost borne by the company of €4.20, thus bringing the total value of the daily meal voucher, as an alternative to the canteen, to a value of €12.20.
