On September 29, 2025, the unified action of the trade union organizations Filctem, Flaei, Uiltec, and Enel Spa convened to discuss the evolution of the dispute with e-distribution following the meeting between the parties on September 11, 2025, and the conciliation attempt initiated at the Ministry of Labor on September 23, 2025.
The unified action has expressed rejection of the proposals put forth by Enel at the meeting on September 11 as they are deemed unacceptable due to continuous issues with the organizational model of e-distribution, particularly regarding its dimensions and the attainment of a work schedule that is compatible with employees’ quality of life.
As such, the dispute endures and the reasoning leading to the initiation of the conciliation procedure at the Ministry of Labor remains in place. Despite this, the united front views positively the meeting at the Ministry of Labor on September 23, 2025, as it has opened up a phase of discussion with the company.
Moreover, it was reiterated that the state of agitation among the staff will be maintained, with suspension of strike actions until the cooling-off procedure has been defined. Consequently, the next meeting has been scheduled for October 21, 2025.
The trade union associations are tasked with conducting the negotiation, reaffirming that the negotiated solutions must surpass the model imposed by Enel with the new schedule for the Blue Team. A strong united coordination is requested, along with the initiation of a new cycle of assemblies to involve workers as soon as there are developments in the ministerial mediation procedure.
To conclude, the united action reaffirms the need to restore participatory and shared trade union relations, reiterating that solutions unilaterally imposed by the company, as occurred with smart working or other topics, will not be accepted.
