On November 14, 2025, trade unions Filcams-Cgil, Fisascat-Cisl, and Uiltucs began consultations with workers for the approval of a proposed renewal agreement with employer association Confedilizia, signed on October 30, 2025. The outcome of these consultations will be delivered by November 30, 2025. The new National Collective Labour Contract (CCNL) will be in effect from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2028.
This agreement concerns approximately 40,000 workers and introduces significant measures to improve their working conditions, remuneration, and protection. The trade unions have initiated consultation assemblies with workers, the results of which will be delivered to National Secretariats by November 30, 2025.
The deal entails a total wage increase of €209.20 for the A3/A4 level, reparameted for other levels, and distributed in three tranches: the first tranche of €154.28 in January 2026, the second tranche of €27.18 in January 2027, and the third tranche of €27.18 in January 2028.
Also planned is a one-time payment of €1,500 for the A3/A4 level to cover the contractual holiday period, delivered in three installments of €500 due in November 2025, June 2026, and June 2027.
A 15% pay increase has been established for workers with B profiles who work fewer than 8 hours per week.
In terms of medical care, the agreement includes the introduction of one paid leave per year for medical check-ups. Sickness pay has been increased to 65% up to the 20th day and 75% from the 21st to the 180th day.
Regarding supplementary health care, an additional monthly contribution of €6, funded by the employer for each worker for family members’ medical expenses, will take effect from February 1, 2027.
An absolute temporary allowance for Inail accidents, paid by the employer, has been introduced from January 1, 2026.
Additional arrangements include the introduction of a specific allowance for key delivery services for rentals and an increased allowance for the collection of registered mail and packages.
The regulations on leave for female victims of gender violence have been adopted and expanded, giving them the possibility to request a further 3 months of unpaid leave. Lastly, a new national holiday has been added, the feast of St. Francis of Assisi (October 4).
