On December 19, 2025, trade union organizations Fp-Cgil, Cisl-Fp, Uil-Pa, Usb, Ugl-Fnos, Fialp-Cisal, Confsal-Fnp and employer associations signed the tentative renewal of the sector’s National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the period 2018-2021. The plan, effective from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2025, provides specific increases in scheduled wages for all professional categories.
The adjustments occur annually as follows: On January 1, 2022, significantly increased wages were implemented for various professional classification levels; similar changes are scheduled for January 1 in 2023, 2024, and 2025. For example, wages for a ‘Quadro Super’ level worker will increase from 47,210.47 EUR in 2022 to 50,120.38 EUR in 2025; a ‘D2’ level worker will see a rise from 37,924.91 EUR in 2022 to 40,262.49 EUR in 2025; and the lowest professional classification level, ‘A1’, will have their wages increased from 20,089.49 EUR in 2022 to 21,327.74 EUR in 2025.
The standard work hours are established as 36 hours to be distributed over five days. The agreement introduces forms of flexible scheduling, multi-week shifts, and afternoon shift work. Agile work and teleworking are also regulated to promote work-life balance. For teleworking, a minimum return to the office of one day a week is set.
A 7.3% increase in the performance bonus linked to efficiency and quality objectives is planned. In terms of welfare, the agreement recognizes to each worker an amount of 880.00 EUR per year to be used exclusively for goods and services on a dedicated platform. However, workers who have formally disagreed to the solidarity contribution are not entitled to this welfare benefit.
The agreement also establishes remuneration for on-call duty with a specific compensation of 10.00 EUR every 12 hours. For business trips, expense reimbursements for transport, meals, and specific daily allowances are planned.
Finally, the parties have committed to meeting again within 30 days to finalize details and update the text in accordance with new laws.
