On December 15, 2025, a meeting was held at the headquarters of Confindustria Firenze between the negotiating delegation of Fim, Fiom, Uilm, and Federorafi for the renewal of the national Goldsmiths Silversmiths contract, which expired in December 2024.
During the meeting, the first texts relating to some contractual types were discussed. These types included fixed-term contracts and supply contracts, professionalizing apprenticeship contracts, as well as a proposal to modify the notice period for workers. Furthermore, the sections concerning transfer and availability, rules not currently present in the contract text but are included in the demands of the platform of Fim, Fiom, and Uilm, were also reviewed.
With the goal of quickly renewing the national collective contract, the Social Partners have set three negotiation dates to start in the early days of January: January 20 and 26, and February 10, 2026. This decision emphasizes their commitment to updating and finalizing the contract details promptly.
