The Bilateral Body of Tertiary, Distribution and Services of Lazio has approved the welfare regulations for 2026, implementing procedural simplifications and economic advancements for registered and compliant workers and companies.
The body has expanded the right to welfare services to employees on unpaid leave while preserving their job positions, as well as those benefiting from social shock absorbers. A simpler application process has been established, requiring fewer documents and setting clear deadlines for integrating these documents.
Economically, several maximum reimbursement figures have increased: university tuition fees are now reimbursed up to €500, public transport season tickets for extra-urban or integrated services up to €250 (€150 for urban network), and contributions to summer camps are now €360. Reimbursement for funeral expenses has been extended to the parents and children of the enrollee, even if not cohabiting. The cultural bonus does not contribute to the annual performance limit.
The main support measures remain in place, including reimbursements for textbooks, sports activities, funeral expenses, the cultural bonus, and a one-off bonus for long-term illness.
For companies, up to four annual services are set, including contributions for technological innovation, health and safety, purchase of safety equipment, uniform hygienisation, and bonuses for stable employment linked to hiring and indefinite period transformations.
Applications should be submitted online via the EBIT Lazio website, and benefits will be provided until the annual available resources are exhausted.
