Confartigianato Imprese Piemonte, Cna Piemonte, Casartigiani Piemonte, Fim-Cisl Piemonte, Fiom-Cgil Piemonte, and Uilm Piemonte have recently signed a collective bargaining agreement that will implement economic changes for employees in the metalworkers, goldsmiths, silversmiths, dental technicians, and restoration sectors. The agreement will take effect on the 1st of January 2025 and will remain valid until the 31st of December 2028.
The agreement includes the recognition of a regional economic element, equal to 1.5% of the minimum wages in force in December of the previous year. Additionally, a sectoral allowance for the restoration category was also agreed upon. This allowance will be distributed from the 1st of January 2026 and according to the salary categories, the funds will range from 51.65 at the top-end (Q super category) down to 30.99 at the lowest end category (6th category).
The agreement also includes the establishment of a productivity element. This allows for a maximum of 3% of the prevailing national wage minimums, as they stand on the 31st of December of the preceding year, to be awarded in the case of meeting established objectives. If this 3% productivity element is not payable due to sector performance, workers are guaranteed an annual allotment of 150.00 euros gross. This amount is payable through fringe benefits.
Finally, to account for the contractual gaps that occurred between the 1st of January 2019 and the 31st of December 2024, the involved parties have agreed to award all employees in service as of the 31st of December 2024, a one-time payment of 230.00 euros. The payment will be made with the wage packet for June 2026. This worker-friendly agreement signifies a positive step on behalf of the organizations involved in advocating for improved worker conditions and benefits.
