On February 5, the first meeting was held between the employer associations of Private Security and Security Services and the unions for the renewal of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) which expires on May 31. In the meeting, the unions presented a unified platform for renewal, highlighting primarily the increase in operational responsibilities of the workers. This implies the necessity for a strengthening of the second level of negotiation, a better guarantee of the scope of application, and a well-structured system of union relations, along with an increase in financial incentives.
From an economic perspective, it has been requested to foresee the updating of existing allowances and the introduction or strengthening of surcharges for night, holiday, and overtime work. Besides that, an adjustment of wages based on the recognition of responsibilities and risks associated with the activities performed was also discussed. Finally, a commitment was requested on the topics of ongoing training, health and safety, social clauses in contract changes, contractual welfare, supplementary pension, and bilateralism.
At the close of the meeting, the establishment of an observatory for bilateral entities was also proposed. The next meetings have been scheduled for March 16th and 24th, April 2nd and 23rd, and May 12th and 20th for further discussions and deliberations.
