On 24th March, a fresh meeting for the renewal of the National Collective Labour Contract for the Education and Research sector was held at Aran. They proposed several economic increase measures for different domains, as follows:
For the school sector, a monthly increase of €130.70 (5.9%) was proposed for the wage table salaries, along with an additional rise of €5.50 per month on average as management allowance (DSGA). This gives a total monthly increase of roughly €136. Additionally, a one-time amount of €100 is planned for Ata personnel.
For the university sector, a standard monthly wage table salary raise of €124 (6.3%) was suggested, along with a corresponding increase in university allowance.
In research – specifically for researchers and technologists, there is a predicted table increase of about €225 per month (5.5%), along with a professional enhancement allowance increase of about €5.50.
For AFAM, a monthly table increase of €161 (around 6%) is anticipated, with a similar rise in professional enhancement allowance.
However, there has been a demand from unions for a higher increase of the lowest salaries, starting from Ata personnel, so as to recompense all skills, including technical and administrative assistants.
The next meeting to decide on these matters is scheduled for 1st April.
