On March 24, a new meeting was held regarding the renewal of the collective contract of Unionmeccanica Confapi, which expired in December 2024. Unionmeccanica outlined their economic stance, demonstrating a willingness to grant a pay increase of €200 to the 5th level’s minimum wage. Moreover, there might be a possible recovery from the rise in June 2027 of €22.10, as prepaid by the agreement on July 24, 2025, if there were an increase in the IPCA. Also, a solution that results in a rebalancing of the salary amount through shifting the date of the June raise to the end of the year in 2028 was discussed.
The unions Fim, Fiom, and Uilm positively evaluated Unionmeccanica’s readiness to grant a pay raise of €200. A new meeting was set for April 1 to discuss ongoing training and safety matters.
