On March 17, the National Secretaries Slc-Cgil, Fistel-Cisl, and Uilcom-Uil met with the Fieg (Italian Federation of Newspaper Publishers) to continue discussions regarding the renewal of the National Collective Labour Contract for print workers. During the meeting, the unions expressed the need to speed up negotiations since the contract has been expired for several years. In light of this, three meetings were scheduled:
1. Normative part: Review and update existing contract norms to meet the new requirements of the sector and workers.
2. Staff classification: Update to reflect the actual skills and responsibilities assumed by workers in the current context.
3. Economic part: Discuss necessary wage increases to recover purchasing power.
