On March 18, 2026, the contract renewal for employees of Embassies, Consulates, Legations, Cultural Institutes and International Organizations in Italy was signed. It was signed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies and the trade unions Cgil, Cisl-Fp, Uil-Pa and Ceuq. The agreement is valid from January 1, 2026, and expires on December 31, 2028.
Some of the most relevant changes include salary increases in 3 stages: January 2026, January 2027, and January 2028.
