On March 18, 2026, Sport e Salute SpA, the National Sports Federations and the FP-Cgil, Cisl-Fp, Uil-Pa, Usb, Ugl-Fnos, Fialp-Cisal unions signed a document narrowing the interpretation of art. 1, paragraph 1 of the sector’s National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) signed on January 23, 2026. The objective was to define precisely the personnel in service at the signature date, ensuring non-discriminatory treatment among the contract’s recipients.
The interpreted rule now explicitly includes:
– Employees on leave for inter-company mobility
– Employees under a transferred contract of employment
– Employees who terminated their relationship without conciliatory agreements with employers falling within the scope of the CCNL
These individuals will have full recognition of their economic competencies related to periods prior to their return to service in Sport e Salute or the new initiation of the employment contract.
Simultaneously, the signatories replaced entirely the articles 22, 26, 43, 45 and 53 and the Fe G tables to correct formal errors and update obsolete terms.
Specifically, article 22 focuses on promoting workers with disabilities. Article 26 updates rules on absences due to illness, the timeframe for job retention, and related wage treatments. Article 43 regulates part-time contracts, introducing specific priorities for employees with cancer-related illnesses or family care needs. Article 45 organizes the regular work schedule over 36 hours per week, outlining flexibility forms like flexible hours, shifts, and work in the afternoon. Lastly, article 53 redefines professional categories A, B and C, setting the classification criteria and wage parameters, supported by the new F and G tables for domestic and international travel allowances.
The F table sets out the National Travel Allowance for the workforce, with amounts varied by employment level and respecting specific rules for different working days and rest periods. Similarly, the G table stipulates the International Travel Allowance according to similar principles, but with different monetary values.
In general, the contents of this document ensure a more rounded sectional contract for Sport e Salute SpA employees while promoting inclusivity and setting out clear guidelines on several aspects of employment conditions, such as leave, illness, work schedules, and wage treatment.
