Continuation of discussions with OO.SS under the CCNL Highway Agreement

On April 10, 2026, trade unions released a statement to inform workers about the topics discussed during their meetings with Acap and Federretti for the renewal of the motorway sector contract. During their meeting on March 25, employer associations provided the unions with a proposal regarding the distribution of the economic component of the renewal, covering minimum wages, business level, and welfare, including issues such as remote work, availability, leave, probation period for term contracts, and the right to study for part-time workers.

On April 8, 2026, the unions presented their document divided into two sections. The first part contains the employer’s proposals from March 25 with the union’s counter-proposals annotated. The second part addresses certain themes from the platform that the unions deem indispensable.

On the economic front, the unions reiterated that financial increases should benefit the entire sector, primarily concerning minimum wages. They also emphasized the need to extend remote working to all motorway entities and clarify the issue of availability.

The trade unions also made proposals on employee classification, reimbursement for travel expenses, allowances, and health and safety at work, as well as reducing work hours.

The next meetings are scheduled for the following dates:
– May 8 in a restricted session;
– May 28 and 29 in plenary;
– June 9 and 10 in plenary;
– June 23 and 24 in plenary.
