The National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservationists has submitted a request for authentic interpretation to the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies relating to the regulations governing mandatory training for updating the role of the Manager of Prevention and Protection in workplaces and some changes for the activity of Safety Coordinator on construction sites (CSE/CSP).
Specifically, the architects asked the Commission for Health and Safety at Work to clarify if the courses, conferences, and seminars should have the same characteristics and, in particular, if a “seminar/conference” is considered valid for updating purposes, is it required that all instructors have the qualifications prescribed by the Inter-Ministerial Decree of March 6, 2013.
In response, the aforementioned Commission referred, among other things, to FAQ no. 47 published on the institutional website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies, stating that the requirements of the instructor trainers provided for by the inter-ministerial decree of March 6, 2013, apply to training or upgrade courses (Part I point 2). Regarding seminars / conferences, only what is provided by part III of the ASR 59/2025 applies. For recognition as an update, the final verification of learning is necessary.
