On November 18, employer associations Cna Comunicazione and Terziario Avanzato, Confartigianato Comunicazione, Casartigiani, Claai and trade unions Slc-Cgil, Fistel-Cisl and Uilcom-Uil ratified an agreement concerning the renewal of the collective labor contract for communication area employees of small and medium businesses. The agreement is effective from 1st January 2023 and valid until 31st December 2026.
As part of the agreement, salaries for businesses will be increased as follows:
– For artisan businesses, the raises will total 200 euros, split into four tranches: 70 euros from 1st December 2024, 45 euros from 1st July 2025, another 45 euros from 1st March 2026 and 40 euros from 1st November 2026.
– For non-artisan businesses, the raises will total 207 euros, also spread over four tranches: 70 euros from 1st December 2024, 45 euros from 1st July 2025, another 45 euros from 1st March 2026 and 47 euros from 1st November 2026.
In addition to the salary increases, employees will receive a one-time 150 euros payment to cover the contract-less period. This payment will be dispensed in two steps: 100 euros with the February 2025 salary and 50 euros with the October 2025 salary. This one-time amount is re-proportioned according to military service, part-time status, and agreed suspensions due to lack of work.
Among apprentices, they will receive 70% of the above-mentioned one-time amount based on the same schedule. The apprenticeship period for small and medium businesses is reduced to three years and the percentage of salary increases for these apprentices are outlined in the attached table.
Concerning sick leave, the grace period is extended by an additional 90 days for disabled workers. The agreement also establishes paid leave for women who are victims of gender-based violence.
A technical committee has been created to update job profiles in the ICT sector in accordance with UNI and European e-CF digital competence frameworks. A commission has also been formed to address ESG certification issues.
