The Italian National Institute of Social Security (INPS) has announced the launch of a new online service for employees of private companies to submit their application for military recall compensation. The service can be accessed through the institutional portal of the Institute by following these steps: go to “Supports, Benefits and Indemnity”, then “Explore Supports, Benefits and Indemnity”, and then select “View all” under the “Tools” section before clicking on “Access point to non-pension benefits” and finally choosing “Treatment of Military Recall”.
Once the application is submitted, the service allows users to view their receipts and documents produced by the system, monitor their application status, and update the payment method information if needed.
The service can be accessed via their digital identity such as SPID level 2 or higher, Electronic Identity Card 3.0 (CIE), National Services Card (CNS), and eIDAS (electronic IDentification, Authentication and trust Services).
For those who don’t possess a digital identity, they can submit their application through patronage institutes, using the services offered by these institutes. This development is geared towards streamlining and simplifying the military recall compensation application process for private sector employees.
