An economic agreement has been signed by Aica, Federturismo, and Filcams-Cgil, Fisascat-Cisl, Uiltucs for the renewal of the CCNL for employees of companies in the tourism industry. The renewal comes into effect from January 1, 2025, and provides for an economic increase of €200.00 spread over four installments (five for travel agencies and tour operators), and a one-time amount of €450.00 (€320.00 for travel companies).

If an additional agreement is not defined within six months from the presentation of a platform by the unions, an economic guarantee element of up to €186.00 is provided. All these are to be included in the length of service for the full maturity and payment of the fourteenth monthly salary.

In terms of gender equality, the possibility of establishing the role of a “Guarantor of equality” in companies with more than 50 employees is provided. Another provision includes an extra three months of leave beyond the legal provisions for working women who are victims of violence and included in certified protection paths. Victims will also have the right to receive an allowance corresponding to their last salary and the right to transform their full-time employment relationship to part-time. And to facilitate their safety, they could also transfer to another production unit.

As for supplementary health care, beginning in 2027, an increase in the contribution to the Fon.Tur. fund of €3.00 is established.
