Rai CCNL: Agreement on Agile Work is Signed

To promote work-life balance, procedures have been initiated to experiment with flexible work practices starting from 1st May 2025. This announcement came from Fistel-Cisl, Uilcom-Uil, Fnc-Ugl Communications, Snater, and Confsal-Libersind trade unions, along with Rai, assisted by Unindustria. They signed an agreement on 23rd January 2025, which seeks to encourage flexible working for professional roles in the production sector.

The trial phase, set to last a year, will start on 1st May 2025. Participation is voluntary and would be formalized through signing an individual agreement that fully incorporates the provisions of the guidelines, in alignment with the expectations laid out in Article 19, Law 81 of 22nd May 2017.

Among other details specified in the agreement, the corporation will continue to pay for the workers’ meal benefits on the days they work remotely. Alternative solutions that include flexible working hours for those excluded from remote working availability have also been arranged. This is set to be implemented for a duration of 12 months, starting from 1st May 2025.

The flexible working model had already been trialed in administrative and editorial sectors since 1st March 2025 and upon its success, it has been extended. With these adaptative working style changes the organizations and Rai aims to create a conducive and productive ambience that encourages a better work-life balance.
