Assolavoro, Felsa-Cisl, Nidil-Cgil, and Uiltemp, after more than two years of intense negotiations, have signed a preliminary agreement in recent days to renew the CCNL for temporary workers. One of the significant new features is a particular focus on training and the development of professional skills. The renewal regulates the use of Formatemp fund resources for training in line with recent regulatory changes introduced by the “Collegato Lavoro.”
To address the difficulties of the solidarity fund in the industry, which currently administers short-term compensation and other worker support benefits, the agreement foresees a doubling of funding. The fund will be 0.45% of the taxable income charged to the employment agencies and 0.15% charged to the workers.
Availability allowance has been increased, with percentages exceeding 15%, bringing it respectively from 800.00 euros per month to 1,000.00 euros and from 1,000.00 euros to 1,150.00 euros. It also sets provisions for periodic checks on adequacy based on inflation trends. There is also a 20% increase in bilateral benefits.
The renewal strengthens union relations, especially on a decentralized level, which could allow for a detailed verification of the equality of treatment and working conditions. It opens up second-level negotiation with the individual agencies for re-distributional policies.
Felsa, Nidil and UilTemp say the renewal reaffirms the importance of collective agreements signed by the most representative union organizations in the sector and the central role of the union.
