On January 8, an agreement was signed by Confagricoltura Arezzo, Coldiretti Arezzo, Italian Farmers Confederation, and Agricultural Workers’ Federations Flai-Cgil, Fai-Cisl, Uila-Uil. This was for the Collective Provincial Labour Contract (CIPL) for agricultural and horticultural workers in the province of Arezzo for the period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027.
A wage increase of 6.4% is expected to start from January 2025. With the salary of January, a one-time allowance of 90.00 euros is expected to be given to all workers in force as of January 2, 2025. Among the most significant new additions, the 30-minute break payment has been introduced for 8-hour work shifts, and a rate increase for collection to 8.00 euros.
At the regulatory level, the regulation of work in farmhouses has been established, with the introduction of new duties and roles.
