CCNL Electricians: Renewal Agreement Signed

On February 11, an agreement to renew the National Collective Labor Contract (CCNL) of July 18, 2022, for workers in the electricity sector for the three-year period 2025-2027 was signed by Enel S.p.A., G.S.E. S.p.A. Sogin S.p.A., Terna S.p.A., and industrial trade unions Filctem-Cgil, Flaei-Cisl, Uiltec-Uil.

From an economic perspective, an overall increase of €312.00 is planned over the three-year period. The average increase envisages €290.00 distributed in four tranches:

– A rise of €90.00 from April 1, 2025

– An increase of €65.00 from April 1, 2026

– A raise of €65.00 from April 1, 2027

– Finally, an increase of €70.00 from October 1, 2027

The total amount would be €6928.00.

Additionally, €15.00 will be allocated for 14 months for productivity . Lastly, an increment of €7.00 on the contractual welfare is settled.

Regulation wise, the most notable change is related to the reduction of the working hours. It is planned that starting from 2025, workers will be able to benefit from half a day more on three specific days (which are December 24 and 31, and November 2).

For the purpose of vacation accrual, the definition of a newly hired employee has been expanded from 6 years to 3 years to benefit from additional vacation days (increased from 20 to 24 days). Through these updates, the organizations aim to foster a more conducive work environment, boost productivity and enhance worker welfare.
