Clothing Artisan SME CCNL: Tentative Agreement Signed with Wage Increases

The trade unions Filctem-Cgil, Femca-Cisl, and Uiltec-Uil have signed a preliminary agreement with employer associations Confartigianato, Cna, Claai, and Casartigiani for the renewal of the Collective Labor Agreement for the Clothing Craft SME sector, which expired on December 31, 2022. This agreement outlines wage increases for the 249 employees in the textile SME sector and the 49 employees in the chemical sector. The new agreement will be in effect until December 31, 2026.

The wage increases are divided based on sector. More specifically, raises of 200.00 euros for the fashion sector, 167.00 euros for the rubber-plastic sector, 191.00 euros for the chemical sector, 161.00 euros for the ceramics, glass, abrasives sector, and 150.00 euros for the Third Fire sector are outlined. These will be paid in two or three installments depending on the sector.

In addition to this, for the contractual vacation period, a one-time bonus of 850.00 euros for the fashion sector, 1,040.00 euros for the chemical sector, and 490.00 euros for the Third Fire sector has been determined.

Regarding the regulatory part, to avoid forms of contractual dumping, the trade unions and the employer parties decided to use contracts from the same sectors signed by the parties as a reference point. Additionally, measures were implement regarding smart working and fixed-term contracts, with more specific causes related to the reference sector.

The next step will be the approval of this preliminary agreement by the workers of small and medium-sized craft enterprises.
