The Uil-Fpl recently issued a press release regarding a meeting with the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces on initiating provisions for the renewal of the CCNL Local Functions 2025-2027. The goal is to strengthen negotiations and restore social and professional dignity to sector workers.
In the meeting, Uil-Fpl emphasised the need for additional resources, structural interventions in local police and educational sectors, and establishing new contract sections for entities without management. The importance of revising the personnel classification system was also stressed, recognising the High Qualification Area as a true contractual classification.
The union intends to finalize the economic part of the contract by 2026, guaranteeing wage increases of 11,.18% from 1st January 2027. There is also a need to fully enforce the 100-million Fund, by identifying the most suitable contractual institution. Other discussed topics include the workers’ desire for a re-evaluation of the personnel classification system and an 11.18% wage increase starting from 2027.
