The National Assembly of delegates from Fiom-Cgil, Fim-Cisl and Uilm-Uil concluded on 16th December, discussing the proposal for the renewal of the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for Mechanics, signed last November 22nd.
During the meeting, the trade unions pointed out that the renewal was achieved after 40 hours of strikes and protests, affecting more than 1.7 million workers. This defined an increase of €205 salary on the minimum wage at a C3 level, beyond the Ipca-Nei, in addition to increasing the quota of flexible benefits to €250.
Improvements in regulations, such as combating precariousness and greater protections on health and security, are also expected.
A referendum on the renewal is scheduled for February 18th, 19th, and 20th.
