San.In.Veneto has announced changes in the method of settling and refunding of services starting from 2026. Ambulatory surgical procedures and day hospitals will no longer be indemnified but reimbursed. Therefore, it will be necessary to demonstrate an expense incurred and the indemnification system, with only the submission of the discharge letter, will remain unchanged for hospitalizations of at least one night.
Regarding the paid psychotherapy sessions, these will be reimbursed up to a maximum of 10 per year, with an amount of 30.00 euros each. However, for other specialist consultations, the amount of reimbursements remains unchanged at 46.15 euros, but a limit of 15 required services per year will be introduced, which must be accompanied by the respective medical prescription.
There will be an annual threshold of a maximum of four requests for laboratory analyses, and for each, a maximum of eight analyses will be reimbursed. Regarding physiotherapy sessions, the maximum limit will be 15 services per year, with mandatory medical prescription.
For the current year, the exempt benefits continue to be indemnified, with an annual ceiling of 100.00 euros.
Furthermore, the reimbursement limit for lenses will remain at 300.00 euros for employees, while it will revert to 100.00 euros for members of Sani in Famiglia, Sani in Azienda, and Over. For the latter, the reimbursement rates for hearing aids and orthopedic corsets will also revert to 347.81 euros and 100.00 euros, respectively.
These changes in amounts and rules apply to services that will be performed from 1st January 2026 onwards.
