On 12th February, the National Association of Cinema Operators (Anec) and trade union representatives Fistel-Cisl and Uilcom-Uil signed an agreement to establish new salary increases resulting from the valuation of minimum contractual amounts due to inflation offset. This adjustment is in light of the 1.7% inflation differential value for 2025 acknowledged and certified by the National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT).
From January 2026, the existing minimum wage rates for workers are increased by 1.7% for the 4th level, amounting to 26.58 euros. These adjustments will be standardized for all other levels. The adjusted amounts will be recognized as an inherent part of the fixed and recurring salary.
The agreement also includes the payment of arrears to employees present at the time of signing the agreement. Calculated in relation to the anticipated increase, the arrears are slated for disbursal in March 2026. The increases are not absorbable by any individual super minimums unless otherwise stated.
For monosale and multisale workers, the levels and the minimum increase from January 1, 2026, are as follows:
– 1st level/100: 16.72; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.186,72
– 2nd level/112: 18.72; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.268,67
– 3rd level/132: 22.07; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.405,55
– 4th level/159: 26.58; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.590,07
– 5th level/176: 29.42; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.706,74
– 5th level Super/158: 30.93; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.767,40
– 6th level Quadro: 36.78; minimum at 1.1.2026: 2.006,90
For multiplex workers:
– Level A/100: 16.72; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.186,72
– Level B/122: 20.39; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.337,01
– Level C/140: 23.40; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.460,35
– Level D/150: 25.08; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.528,69
– Level E/165: 27.58; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.630,75
– Level F/185: 30.93; minimum at 1.1.2026: 1.767,40
