On March 4, 2026, Fp-Cgil announced the signing of a preliminary agreement for the renewal of the sector’s National Collective Labor Contract (CCNL) for the three-year period 2022-2024.
The main points of the proposed renewal are as follows:
1) Overall increase of 7.5% of the minimum salary by December 1, 2021 (compared to the initial proposal of 5.65% increase), starting from December 1, 2024. This equates to a monthly raise of 131.77 euros for the second level of the second bracket.
2) Recognition of a total amount of 1,850.00 euros for the second level of the second bracket as back payments (compared to the first proposal of 1,000 euros), for the period from January 2022 to November 2024. This will be beneficial for the employee’s severance indemnity payments and social security charges.
3) Retroactive payments for the whole period from December 2024 to March 2026 amounting to 2,371.86 euros for the second level of the second bracket.
4) Doubling of the amount allocated to the health insurance policy, which increases from 14.17 euros to 28.17 euros per month, along with a corresponding expansion in coverage.
5) Introduction of a new employee reclassification system based on three professional areas and ten economic levels.
6) Immediate start of negotiations for the 2025/2027 CCNL.
The agreement will be subjected to the review of employees in the upcoming assemblies. The details of the proposed agreement highlight the collective intent to improve workers’ salary and benefits, enhancing their financial stability and workplace security.
